Eazy Spagetti

Ingredients

  • 250–500g spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2–3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes or pasta sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or basil (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions (usually 8–10 minutes) until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the sauce
    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (do not let it burn).
  3. Add tomatoes
    Pour in the crushed tomatoes or pasta sauce. Add salt, pepper, and herbs. Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Combine
    Add the drained spaghetti to the sauce and toss well until evenly coated.
  5. Serve
    Top with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.

Optional Additions

  • Ground beef or chicken for a meat version
  • Chili flakes for a spicy kick
  • Mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers for extra flavor
  • A splash of cream for a richer sauce
